Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange has issued a strong warning to the state government that it will face serious consequences if it proceeds with elections without addressing the Maratha community's demand for reservation. Jarange has organized a large gathering event at Narayangadh in Beed district during the Dasara festival and urged Marathas to participate in large numbers. He emphasized that he will not compromise on any demands, including the withdrawal of criminal cases against community members statewide. Jarange stated that if the state government continues to ignore the Maratha community's demands, it will face backlash in the upcoming elections. He urged the community to stay united in their fight for reservation, emphasizing that it is not just about reservation but also about dignity and equality for the Marathas. Jarange criticized some within the ruling party for creating obstacles and not recognizing the Maratha community's identity accurately. Despite the government's promise to address the issue, progress has been slow, leading to growing dissatisfaction among the community.
